Maria Droste Golf Event
This is my redesign for Maria Droste’s Annual Golf Tournament brandmark. These are various designs that I worked on for this project. I wanted to focus on a simple geometric design for a flag/green hill to symbolize the gold tournament aspect. This brand mark is separate than Maria Droste’s main company branding so I wanted to heavy focus making this design reflect golfing.
Maria Droste Counseling Center Golf Event Logo Redesign
Problem
The main challenge when creating a new logo design for Maria Droste’s annual golf event was needing to incorporate a couple key elements. That being the full name of the non profit as well as the text for this being an annual golf tournament. Plus needing to incorporate a design element that can instantly communicate golfing.
Solution
The solution was to create a simple graphic element for a golf flag that can complete the goal of communicating the theme of the event, using striking colors to catch the viewers attention to immediately communicate that information rather then losing peoples attention with the text. The simple geometric design can work within short and long distance for viewing. The text was able to rest below the design to naturally guide the viewers attention downward. I do think the simplistic design can present a professional design and clean design without the overall graphic not feeling overcrowded.
Info Pager, Mulligan Ticket and Stickers, and Golf Sliders
Problem
The challenge for this project series was to create various marketing elements with Maria Droste’s event organizer team for the upcoming golf event. With this challenge came various mini projects for various marketing elements to be used around the event. The Info Pager project was to be used as an initial information source to be handed out at the event entrance. The Mulligan tickets and stickers were to be handed to every person and on lunch boxes for every RSVP participant. With the Golf Sliders to be displayed on large screens around the event grounds.
Solution
Info Pager
For the annual golf event for Maria Droste Counseling Center, I was tasked to create a couple one pagers to be used to inform all attendees about the event and to be used for promotion on social media. These one pagers would also include sponsor brand marks and provided golfing location images. I utilized the same color scheme as their company brand mark so everything is constant with the company.
After the completion of the one pager for the annual golf event I was also tasked to create some additional one pager for more information about the event and about Maria Droste Counseling Center. For these one pagers I kept the same color scheme with exploring options on how to adjust the header to make the overall design more engaging.
Mulligan Ticket and Stickers
For this project I was tasked to create some stickers and Mulligan Tickets to be used during a golf fundraiser event for Maria Droste Counseling Center. The tickets and stickers to be used to showcase the events sponsors.
Mulligan Ticket and Stickers
For the same golf event for Maria Droste, I was also tasked with designing sliders that will be played on large tv screens through out the duration of the event. These screens were placed around the event ground and would cycle through these sliders. The sliders will go through information of the event, lunch information, promotion for Maria Droste, and thank you to our sponsors. I created at least 20 different sliders for this event.
The solution was to first establish a consistent design standard for all design elements in accordance with Maria Drostes existing brand aesthetics. Through this I made sure that every design utilized followed a consistent main color theme that matches their existing main logo. Their main logo being different then the gold logo redesign. As well as a focus on simplistic design templates. To ensure that any graphic element doesn’t distract from important event information, as well as allowing space for partnership branding. These projects was a team effort with other designers, event organizers, and main company directors.
